Sage and Cedar Shampoo Bar with Avocado and Shea
Avocado oil is rich in oleic acid and healthy fats, making it one of the few oils that can actually penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize from the inside- it also produces an exceptional lather.
As always- 100% of my recipes are original, and all of my soaps are made the old fashioned way.
Ingredients: avocado, olive and coconut oils, shea butter, essential oils
Unlike most soap on the market today, all Savage Canary soaps are produced using the hot-process method. It's a much more labor intensive process, but it allows for greater control over the final product.
I'm able to leave more of the beneficial ingredients in their natural state, unaffected by the chemical reactions that take place during saponification.(saponification is the chemical reaction that turns oils into soap)
Most soap produced today has a super-fat of 5%. This means that only 5% of the beneficial base oils remain in the final product. (the rest have been saponified)
Savage Canary Soap has a super-fat of 15%, leaving 3 times more of the base oils and beneficials behind to nourish and moisturize your skin.
The bars are long-lasting and produce an exceptionally rich lather.

I'm flipping out over this shampoo! I tried it the day it arrived. Very cleansing and yet moisturizing. I needed a rich non drying shampoo that still cleaned well, and this does that. I had wanted to find a good bar shampoo to avoid the plastics and better transportability for travel. The sage and cedar scent smells divine. I'm very sensitive to perfumes, I often sneeze at many so-called "natural" ones, but I have no problem with this one at all.
